I am interested in microbiome evolution and factors impacting microbial community assembly in the context of climate change. My research focuses on exploring the relationship between environment, phylogeny, and the microbiome of intertidal snail species in British Columbia. I have a passion for understanding the world around me and for learning new techniques to help me do it. In my current project, I am using wet lab, field, and computational approaches to identify factors impacting microbiome assembly.
