New paper: Novel role of cadherin flow in symmetry-breaking of cell division
03/11/25 15:53
The new paper from our lab has been published in Current Biology!
The project was spearheaded by Mi Jing (MSc), who graduated in May, with support from Rain (PhD) and Gagan (former undergrad). Cadherin, a major adhesion molecule in animals, exhibits flow during cell–cell junction remodeling, known as cadherin flow. Our study revealed that cadherin flow plays an important role in generating left–right asymmetry in embryonic cells.
