The effects of gas supersaturation downstream of hydroelectric dams on fish behaviour and physiology

Gas supersaturation regularly occurs in waters downstream from hydroelectric dams and can result in gas bubble disease in fishes. I am interested in the effects of gas supersaturation on the behaviour, physiology, and mortality of fishes. I plan to explore the different vulnerabilities of regional species and age classes to gas bubble disease and their potential for recovery.
