I am a UBC co-op student in the lab, trying to learn all the hands-on aspects of daily upkeep of a lab, at the same time as learning how to organize, perform and run my own project. I am responsible for much of the genotyping, RT-PCR, molecular analysis of cell cultures needed in the lab. I am also a killer on autoclaving, buffer-making and washing machine, duty. I am secretly plotting to take over the lab, but have managed to not let on to anybody just yet.
