Save Costa Rican rainforest!

Guanacaste forest One of the most amazing conservation efforts on this planet, the Area de Conservacion Guanacaste in Costa Rica, protects habitats from the ocean to the volcano tops. It's a place of science and education and ecotourism, but most importantly, it's a wild place. And we don't have too many of those left. You can help save more land for future generations of weird and wonderful creatures such as howler monkeys, frogs, bromeliads, army ants, humans, agoutis and colourful butterflies by donating here.
Read this book about the exciting history of the conservation area: Allen, W. 2000. Green Phoenix: Restoring the Tropical Forests of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Oxford University Press
