I am a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia, working on microbial ecology and geomicrobiology.
As a naturalist by philosophy, a physicist by methodology and a biologist by heart, I'm exploring the invisible world through biogeochemical models, numerical simulations and molecular techniques.
In the past I have worked on oscillator network theory, plant-polinator co-evolution, population-level host-parasite dynamics, ecological time series theory and numerical methods in plasma physics.
When I'm not doing science, I'm traveling, hiking, climbing, snowshoeing and recently, skiing.
Occasionally, I'm making small videos (2013, 2014), acting (2012, 2013, 2014) or singing (2010).
