Biology 361 is the introductory physiology course in the Cell and Animal stream of the Biology Program. The course emphasizes how science really works. Science is dynamic, and models must be constantly modified to incorporate new information. In the lectures we will cover topics that range from transport across membranes, passive membrane properties, how membrane potential can power ATP production and generate excitable membranes including neurons and muscles.
