Myofilament
Research - The goal of our muscle research lab is to
investigate the assembly and organization of myofilaments within
the body wall muscle of C. elegans.
Myoblast Migration Project - In an effort to
identify the proteins involved in early myoblast migrations we
are currently testing genes predicted to be in, or interacting
with the ECM using RNAi knockdowns.

An
objective of the project was to define the RNA expression profiles
in specific tissues and cells, and developmental stages of C.
elegans. Another
objective was the development of a protein expression baseline
for specific tissues during development.
