Fieldwork : see the Schedule page for the day for your group (A, B, or C), to which you will be assigned during lectures. When it is “your day”, assemble at the field site at 1:30PM sharp, according to instructions given in the lecture. Guidelines and Fieldwork & Paper pages describe the work and the writeup.

 

Tutorials : see Schedule page for days for your group. “Early” means 1:30PM sharp and “Late” means 3:00PM sharp. All tutorials will be held in Biol. Sci. 1524, just along the corridor from the Dean of Science’s office, Tue - Thu of week 2. The Guidelines page indicates what is expected from you in general; the Tutorial Topics page provides the specifics.

Fieldwork-paper hand-in : at the lecture period on the day for your group (see Schedule page). The hand-in date for each group will be two weeks after the first day you spend in the field.

Course assessment :                            15% for tutorial participation,

                                                                25% for fieldwork-paper, and

                                                                60% for the final exam (Fri 25 June).

 

Please note that in order to receive a passing grade for the course, you must score at least 50% on the final exam.
