History: For my MSc research I studied sex-biased dispersal in orangutans. For my PhD I investigated inbreeding depression, heterozygosity-fitness correlations, and heritability of heterozygosity in song sparrows of Mandarte Island, British Columbia, Canada. I obtained both degrees from the University of Zurich, Switzerland.

I am an evolutionary biologist studying inbreeding and outbreeding depression in song sparrows and with computer simulations.
