Mountain View

Just a few relevant items for the meeting/accommodations:

1. Linens: Linens and towels are provided by Ft. Worden for registered attendees.

2. Check-in: The registration desk to pick up name-tags, room keys, etc. will be open from 4-10 pm on Friday, April 13. Registration will be in Building 204 (see the attached map). We will be utilizing Dorms 203 and 225. There will be no signs for EVO-WIBO outside at Fort Worden, so please remember to come to building 204. If you expect to arrive after 10 PM, please email me (pacarter@wsu.edu) in advance of the meeting to make arrangements. If you are arriving on Saturday morning, please let me know; we can get you checked in at the Commons from 8:50-9:00 (right before the talks begin).

3. Friday night dinner: We do not have a planned dinner for Friday night. There are a lot of good places in Port Townsend to grab a bite (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g58687-Port_Townsend_Washington.html). We will have some snacks and drinks available Friday afternoon and evening to help get you in that Evo-Wibo spirit!

4. Travel: Remember that many of you will need to take a ferry to get to Port Townsend, and this can add substantially to the travel time. Driving directions to Port Townsend are here , ferry schedules are here (http://www.wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/), and directions to Fort Worden are here . A map of Fort Worden is in the program.

5. Program: A rough draft of the schedule in excel format, including the general schedule, talk title and timing, and poster titles, is here. Please check your talk or poster title and send me any corrections (pacarter@wsu.edu) by Wed April 4th at 5 PM. We will print a single sheet with the general schedule and a Fort Worden map for each attendee, but we will not print the titles of all talks and posters to the paper. A few days before the conference, we will post on the website and email you the full talk and poster schedule for you to bring on your favorite electronic device.

6. As a keepsake from the meeting, we will provide each attendee with a special EVO-WIBO 2018 22 ounce plastic beer stein. This can be used for cold drinks (e.g., beer) or hot drinks (e.g., coffee/tea) and shouldn’t break when you drop it!
